Going through the Seasons

Bird sing their wistful song a tune so pure,
Children laugh as they search for eggs that the bunny’s would hide,
Chasing rainbow hoping riches would be found,
See the rainy clouds fill the sky crying their watery tears,
As you run a new time comes, one where most memories are dear.

Flowers in full swing as the sun shines,
Now firework fill the air as cheers are heard,
Finding new treasure on both land and sea,
Animal running through dense trees,
Soon those new things pass too quickly for the sun fades.

Color will change as leafs fall,
Crisp cold air comes to blow again,
All the animals squirm to find the last of food,
Seeing what new harvest comes to bring,
But put all thanks in everything you hold dear,
For now the most wonderful time is here.

Snow falls gently from the sky as we all hide,
We set tree full of joy as colors of green and red rain,
Now listen for bells on reindeer,
Sleep so sound hoping for present to appear,
Now a new year comes and we all cheer,
The sun comes up again to start this cycle all over again.
