Something that everyone needs to undergo, feel the flow.
Don’t you know?
Humans are crescendos in a symphony called existence,
Our persistence cries out in search of motivation.
But flesh betroths itself to this idea of instant gratification, getting off at the same station
Everyday instead of striving to reach a greater destination.
Trials and tribulations will be faced but you can’t give up!
Because the moment you quit,
The moment you throw a fit,
You throw in the towel,
You throw away your life.
Don’t I know, because I’ve been there.
I’ve been the white crayon in the Crayola box, feeling useless, like I didn’t have a purpose.
Worthless, like the creaking and squeaking of a rusty gate in an abandoned factory, with moss In the cracks of the bricks that haven’t yet fallen, no longer contributing to society.
The fact is I hadn’t lost my sense of propriety, I’d lost my spunk.
Left my determination in the bottom of the trunk and had to backtrack and get it.
Now get yours.
Point your head to the sky and give yourself reason to believe that it’s worth the pain.
This season will pass so take a good look at the glass and realize something’s in it.
Whether it’s half empty or half full,
Or ninety-nine hundredths empty and one hundredth full, there’s something there.
We’re well aware of the languishing struggles.
All of us have this familiarity with discouragement, it’s not a rarity.
It’s a painstakingly common thing, but then there’s this thing called clarity, you gotta open your Eyes to the possibility of prosperity, and stop dreaming of popularity but rather, you go out and get it!
Let ‘em know who you are, jump around in jocularity to tell the planet what you’ve Accomplished, what you’ve overcome!
You want to see your glory days in the sun, then you’ve gotta turn the tables with the strength of Your newfound pride, so you can reside in a state of fulfillment.
So as I part from this pen and pag, I hope you understand what to do,
We’ll reach greatness if we try, I know that to be true.
Keep on blooming like the roses of red and violets of blue.
Oh, and one last thing,
I believe in you.
