You always take care of me on those tough days.
Then I got mad and said horrible things to you, yet you never stopped loving me
You tried your best to make me smile, you never wanted me to be sad
Then I lost my dog. I cried for days, and stopped eating,
I stopped drawing, and I thought: do I want to be alive?
My mom wasn’t there, you showed up for me
Grandma, you said that losing my dog is hard
But my dog will love me, and want me to be happy
Slowly, I was feeling better, you took me shopping, and made me draw, you helped me find my joy once more
You give me love, care, and more You’re like a second mom to me
