I’m always enchanted by what I see in movies,
And what I read in books
So now, here I am wanting what I can’t have
All I want is a love like Chenford or Jiara,
And chemistry like Max and Ellis
But reality lets me down
So now, I’m too afraid to let myself feel
Only to later ask myself “Was it ever even real?”
All I want is action and adventure
Like from “Real Steel”, “The Avengers”, or “Outer Banks”
All I want is someone to understand me,
Not berate or try to change me
I don’t want to be judged,
But rather be hugged,
How Peter did with Lara Jean
All I want is to be free of conformity,
Like the pogues from OBX,
Not having a care in the world
All I want is someone to make me feel the calmness that the sea brings,
Like Caroline did for Klaus
But my expectations must be too high
Because sadly, What I want only exists in movies,
So like Khloe Rise said,
“…I’ll stick to the ones who don’t know me”
