The Song of the Ocean

How can the ocean be so heavenly?
She enchants many with her wondrous song.
She sings out when the sky is ebony,
Gaily the birds too are singing along.

She holds glorious treasures deep below,
Coral, jewels, and sunken wonders too.
Behold her treasure-filled grottos shining.
Her waters shine deep blue to me and you.

Her stormy wrath is difficult to bear,
She cries out when her animals are killed.
She’d sink great ships and send storms in despair.
With her salty tears the ocean is filled.

Oh, as long as we can joyfully see,
The ocean is majestical and free.
