Starlight Sighting

We wake in the night
To a thunderous roar.
Pull on your boots,
Put on your cap,
Step out of the cabin,
Way out back, way out back.
Run to the hill
And climb up its slopes.
Peek over its edge,
And what do you know?
A herd of feral horses
As far as the eye can see!
The dust kicked up
By their flashing hooves.
A light brown cloud
It surrounded thee.
These wild horses can't be beat.
Their glamorous heads,
Their glorious feet
Flashing like thunder!
Striking a beat!
