We honor those who died
We give them respect
They didn’t die in vain
Our country, we will perfect
We give them respect
We gather every year
On 9/11 to be exact
We show that we care
They all rest in peace
That’s what everyone prays
The twin towers were rebuilt
But the fighters won’t be back again
There were some survivors
They were warriors
Just like the tree
Next to the memorial
Their memories were left
For us to revere
In our hearts and minds
They will never disappear
