Start off as a seed
It was one simple deed
Root yourself firmly
Even better yet early

Proclaim your site loudly
even when days are cloudy
Who you chose to be
Is up to you, you see

Surround yourself amongst glee
It’s your only plea
You begin to grow
When you realize you can go on solo

As you thrive, others may arrive
Teach them how to bloom
So they never meet their tomb

You know you did your job
When you never hear another sob
Remember this your own garden
So don’t let others make you harden
