A Book

Hidden beneath the covers
Lies a story to be told,
A mystery, a comedy,
In pages that unfold.

Pictures with lots of detail,
Words that sometimes rhyme,
Open it up and take a look,
Don’t worry, it’s not a crime!

They seem to suck you up,
Into a whole different world,
Just read it till the end
And you’ll see the tale unfurled.

They can be about anything,
A dragon or a pencil,
Or a super sonic swing.
A magic ball or table,
A super loud RING!

If you are writing a fiction tale,
Just let your imagination run-
Don’t even try to catch it-
And now I am done.
